Running a business – Do I need Employers Liability Insurance?

If you have a business that employs staff whether it be 1 or 100 then YES you are legally obliged to have Employers Liability Insurance

It is against the law not to have it

Not having Employers Liability Insurance in place can result in large fines

Why do I need it?

Employers Liability Insurance is there to protect you should a claim be brought against the business for failing to provide a safe system of work.

Did you know?

You can be fined £2500 every day you are not properly insured
